| Overview |
Trailview Federal Credit Union was founded in 1950 to serve the employees and their families of John Manville located in Waterville, OH. Over the years, we have grown in our membership and service. Accounts are insured up to $250,000.00 by the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA), an agency of the federal government.
A five member Board of Directors, who are elected by members at an annual meeting held in the spring of each year administers Trailview Federal Credit Union. The Board of Directors is responsible for the overall operation of the credit union and its staff. Also appointed by the Loan Officers and Supervisory Committee.
Credit Unions are people oriented financial institutions with one significant difference setting them apart from other financial institutions: The member owns the credit union rather than an individual or a small group of nonprofit cooperative solely for the purpose of helping members assist one another financially.
That's what it's all about, people helping people. It is our goal to carry on the credit union tradition of people helping people in to the future. Just by saying the work "MEMBER" we remind ourselves of the important part you play in this credit union's day operations today and tomorrow.
